Oxford Christian Church Blanket Ministry

All must be New, Washable, Handmade, Clean of course and free of smoke and animal hair.  Also, NO WOOL yarn, batting, or fabric. This statement applies to all projects.

Linus Project-

Linus Blanket Project:  Will accept baby blankets, receiving blankets, fleece baby to adult size, crocheted, knitted, tied (preferred single layered fleece) or quilted.  If crocheted or knitted, they prefer no large holes for baby fingers to get caught in.  Do not attach objects that can be pulled off by a child, i.e. buttons or trim.

Sizing: Most are 36" to 45" x WOF (width of fabric) bucan be smaller for toddlers and infants, only specific sizes are listed below.

NICU: 18x18 up to 36x36 square, crocheted, or fleece/flannel with crocheted edges. 

Sunlight Childrens Service:  Teen 2 yrds x WOF, Youth 36-45 x WOF, Baby 36 x 36 (ALL must be fleece with crocketed edges.)

Blue Santa-

We are trying to do minimum 36-45 inches by 48- WOF long.  These are for toddlers to teens so it is better to let them grow into the blankets.  Prefer Crocheted Edge Blizzard or Anti Pill Fleece.

Harry Hynes Hospice-

We are doing a minimum 36 inch, Prefer 42-45 inches wide by 45-58ish inches long.

These are for adults and Prefer Crocheted Edge Blizzard or Anti Bill Fleece. 

Also requesting Patriotic Blankets for their Veterans.

Oxford Police (as needed)-

Large and fleece.  Must be in 2 gallon bags when delivered. 

Prefer gender neutral print.  Solid would probably be fine.

Birthline of Wellington-

Baby Blankets 30 x 30 only, can be crocheted, fleece with crocheted edge, flannel with decorative stitched hem.

Baby Bibs and Burp cloths, no specific pattern.
